:: Written Appearance ::
He has unruly fluffy fur that is easy to get into knots, luckily he has the time to keep it neat and well kept at all times. Dark brown stripes run along his back down to his tail that is completely brown, along with his ears. On both of his eyes there are stripes that run from the sides and under them. He has a small patch of brown over his nose. His stomach, chest and the front of his face all have a cream color to them, his paws are also cream colored. Adderpaw has somewhat dull fern green eyes.

Thin and fragile, but thanks to his fluffy fur its well hidden, giving him the look of being somewhat stocky and large.

Even if you're not friends with Adderpaw, you can be sure to depend on this tom for almost anything you need. If he makes a promise, you can be completely sure that he will go through with it, and if told him a secret, he won't tell it to another soul. This tom cat can be trusted and relied on for just about anything, as long as it's with in reason of course. Adderpaw is also a very brave cat. He never shies away from the sight of death or bloodshed, and if it wasn't for his lack of interest and weak body he would have made a good warrior. He's not afraid to get close to the battlefield to take care of the wounded or go to potentially dangerous places and cliff sides in search of herbs.

Adderpaw has mastered the art of completely masking his emotions, his voice always staying at a flat, monotone voice and his eyes never reflect his feelings. He very rarely shows any forms of affection or even caring about anything that happens around him. Although, despite his calm expression and weak body, Adderpaw loves to get into fights with others, and rubbing other cat's fur the wrong way seems to come naturally to this tom. Even though he usually loses in all the scuffles he gets into he always goes back for more since he loves the rush and thrill of fighting, despite his uninterestedness in becoming a warrior himself.

Memory- He has an almost photographic memory that will let him recall almost everything he has learned fairly easily without needing to repeat lessons or have his mentor remind him about what's what. He is also very good at putting names to faces.

:: Strengths ::
Eyesight- Adderpaw's eyesight is a bit sharper than most, allowing him to spot wounds and other injuries quickly.

Not Afraid of Battle- Even though he may be a medicine cat, he's not afraid to be around battle and bloodshed despite his lack of knowledge when it comes to fighting, making it easy for him to hang around the battlefield to help cats on the spot.

Keeps Promises- No matter what Adderpaw can be trusted to keep a promise once he's made it, and will never go back on it. Anyone can tell him a secret with the knowledge that he won't share it with another soul, but that may just be because of his lack of friends.

:: Weakest skill ::
Unsympathetic- He lacks the ability to feel sorry for any cat he may be treating, especially if they got hurt do to doing something reckless or stupid. So if you're looking for sympathy during your time in the Medicine Den, don't go looking for comfort in Adderpaw.

:: Weaknesses ::
Weak- Despite his appearance, Adderpaw is very weak and would easily be beaten in a fight. He is unable to do anything strenuous without collapsing after a short while. On long hikes through MountainClan territory, he would have to stop frequently to rest, leading him to spend most of his time within the Clan camp.

No Fun- Due to his serious personality, it's hard for Adderpaw to ever have a good time outside of doing his duties as a Medicine Cat apprentice. Games don't hold any joy or excitement for him and he needs jokes to be explained to him, never finding them funny.

Antisocial- He hates spending any more time with cats than he finds necessary. After treating wounds, he'll try to get the cat out of the den quickly as possible and if any cats are staying overnight in the medicine den, he will stay as far away from them as possible.

[ Kit-hood ]

Adderkit was born along with his sister, Sweetkit. Even though both of his parents were loving, albeit overbearing at certain times, they always had the sibling's best interests in mind. Despite the overflowing love from both of his parents and sister, he was still detached from all of the other cats, always choosing to be by himself and not even showing an ounce of sympathy when Sweetkit accidentally got a thorn lodged into her paw. Although this is where it was first shown there was something wrong with him, it was also where he first started to show signs of interest in becoming a medicine cat by the way he kept his wide round eyes fixated on what the medicine cat was doing in interest. From there on, Adderkit made frequent trips to the medicine cat den, interested in soaking up all the information he could about different herbs and treatments. Sweetkit lost interest in hanging around her brother after a moon or two, instead choosing to play with other kits within the nursery, which was perfectly fine with him, seeing as this gave him more time to himself. His kithood seemingly dragged on forever, and couldn't help the happiness he felt when the current medicine cat died, making the apprentice spot open for taking.


[ Apprenticeship ]

Adderpaw has only recently entered apprenticeship as a medicine cat, but has already excelled at his tasks. His sister, Sweetpaw, has been taking a large interest in fixing their sibling bond in their apprenticeship, making frequent trips to the medicine cat den to ask him how he's doing, much to the orange tom's annoyance. He's looking forward to working as an apprentice for a long time under his mentor, Wetwhisker.
